Night Club Design Brief

Lumen is a glamorous bar and nightclub in Mayfair, West London. It is a stylish hotspot for affluent,

young, party revellers and attracts footballers and celebrities.

It has a state of the art sound system and an LED video screen dance floor that lights underneath

dancers’ feet and a suspended LED screen above the stage that plays a range of content from

music videos, promotional clips and content for their themed nights.

There are lights in the alcoves around every wall. There are lights under the seats and tables of the

VIP seating area and underglow lights under the bar.

Opening times:

• Wendesday – Sunday, from 8pm – 4am.

• Wednesday night has an happy hour between 8pm-9pm.

• Thursday night is Live Lounge, where they have special guest performances .

• Friday night is Ladies night where ladies get in for half-price.

• Saturday night boasts the best R’n’B, Hip hop, and all things Urban.

• Sunday night is for the lovers of House and Dance music.

Your focal point is North.

Areas that you want to act in unison should be grouped in the same location.

Large areas, i.e. the dance floor, can be broken up into a number of different

locations to create a more dynamic effect.
